206 Rue de Rivoli
Doors create feelings of respect, awe, intimidation or thoughts about the nature of your place in the world. Gates have you are literally outside looking in and wondering if you will be accepted in.
This door is Leo Tolstoy’s door at 206 Rue de Rivoli, facing the Tuileries Gardens. This door is now entrance to a self serve restaurant. I found that disappointing, so I put it in front of a castle. Ah, the liberty of an artist.
