Imagine joining a small group of adventurers at a lovely rustic cabin on Shuswap Lake for a creative experience and air for the soul. Explore your creativity and treat yourself to being off grid, relaxed and away from city stress for 4 days of fun. Activities will be tailored to the participants with the following options in mind:
- Painting and craft making lessons
- Yoga, meditation, and healing processes
- Nature walks and photo shoots of waterfalls, rapids, mountains and the lake
- Meal shares with cooking and cheesemaking lessons
- Sunbathing on the dock, chilling on the deck, or kayaking
- And other spirit regenerating activities with guest facilitators.
Groups depart on a Friday and return on a Monday, from Surrey to Seymour Arm, which is located on the north end of Shuswap Lake, with scenic and winery stops along the way.
You will arrive to our cabin and glamping site which are fully serviced with comfortable beds, hot showers, and picturesque lake and mountain views.
Maximum occupancy is 6 in the cabin, and 4 on the glamping site. 4 rooms and two 10’x12′ tents will support up to 2 persons each.
Retreats are designed to fit the following themes and are being offered between June 2024 – Sep 2024. Custom retreats can be arranged – BFFs, Weddings, Honeymooners, Couples holidays, Entrepreneur Getaways.

Joanne Dennis explores possibility on canvas, using acrylics, fabric, and thread with other art mediums to create abstract, expressionist, and representational art. She uses multiple techniques with intentional and intuitive processes to communicate a strong connection to the intricate beauty of this world.
Joanne’s studio, JD Access Creative, is located in Surrey, BC where she delivers classes, shares in collaborative art processes with local artists, and shares her gallery collection. Joanne produces a series of art lessons called Creative Canvas art classes, a Creative Conversations mastermind series, and a Creative Reflections card deck that empowers anyone to build their creative capacity, and also facilitates creative workshops for art retreats, non-profit groups, and entrepreneurs. She is truly a conduit for creativity and self-expression.
